ERA Home protection plan

Our task is to put both seller and buyer at ease and make them feel as assured as possible. We therefore offer peace of mind insurances to both parties.

When you sell your home old doors close and new doors open. Your old humming fridge and slow washing machine are no longer part of the equation and are easily forgotten. We help you do just that. As seller you are responsible for ensuring that all the domestic appliances are in the same working order on the day of possession as when the home was first shown to the buyer. If a machine malfunctions during the selling period you are liable to remedy the fault. Typically, this is what generally happens. As an ERA customer you avoid all this through a special insurance policy that covers any malfunctions during this period. It also covers the buyer for 30 days after closing.

ERA Hidden Faults

When you have sold your house you want to continue with life in your new home. But your responsibility does not end just because the sell has concluded and the buyer has taken possession. Should the buyer discover hidden faults they can demand compensation for ten years from the possession date. This means that you can be held responsible for hidden faults in the building, faults that you knew nothing about and probably did not cause in the first place.
